Job Progress

BEFORE

AFTER

A remote site in the hills where this type of job is typically necessary.
The wall is complete, with only scaffolding remaining to be removed, the cap to be placed and the drainage system to be constructed.

The job was challenging in that there was limited space for heavy equipment to move onto and around the job site; and for staging materials and dirt.

Trenches are dug to provide for drain lines from the wall above.

The hillside was tight in on this residence and threatening to slide into the home at anytime.

A five-foot deep key was cut along the length of the house and reinforcing steel was installed in preparation for concrete.

The concrete footing for the conrete masonry unit (CMU) wall is poured.

A view if the CMU wall during construction. The area above the wall needed to be tarped and strung with sandbag hold-downs.
